About the Author


The Rev. Dr. Stephen R. Woods holds two Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees, one in Biology and the other in Mechanical Engineering.  He holds the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree, and earned doctorates (both Summa Cum Laude) in Theology (Th.D.) and Ministry (D.Min.).  He is a native of Middle Tennessee and has received his ministerial ordination in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, having been employed in that calling in New Albany, Mississippi, and more lately in Hernando, Mississippi as Pastor of the Hernando Presbyterian Church.  He has been a regular speaker at the Great Revival in the Southern Armies Conference over the last ten years.  He has worked in the past as a professional engineer and successful entrepreneur in Memphis, Tennessee, and resides in suburban Memphis with his wife and children. Dr. Woods serves as an adjunct professor for the Birmingham Theological Seminary in Alabama. He has authored numerous books on the subjects of Eschatology, Biblical Hermeneutics, English Bible Translations, Practical Theology, and Ecclesiological Apologetics.
